About the Event

Paradisloppet 2026 will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, on Ingarö island in the Stockholm archipelago, Sweden. This is the 51st edition of the event, described as the archipelago's most beautiful running race, offering classes for all ages. The day includes a warm‑up with Nordic Wellness, Vargloppet for ages 3–6 (run with Ingvarg), a drawing competition, bounce houses, and a speaker (Chris Härenstam). Team registration is available for groups of 10 or more with discounts (20% for 10–15 persons, 30% for 16–20 persons, 40% for 21–25 persons).

Activities during the day include a performance by Minou Nilsson (from Idol), a tip‑promenade for ages 65+, a festive balloon release, a bicycle repair station, mobile phone recycling, a martial arts demonstration (Shorinji Kempo), information from Stiftelsen Ett Hjärtligt Värmdö, and the football game at Golfbaren Nacka Strand.

About Ingarö

Ingarö is an island in Värmdö Municipality, Stockholm County. The chief settlement is called Brunn. With an area of 63.26 km2, it is the 16th biggest island in Sweden. Petroglyphs indicate that the island has been inhabited since the Nordic Bronze Age. For most of the 20th century the resident population decreased, while at the same time many vacation homes were built. However, in recent years population has grown as new homes are being built and vacation homes are being converted into permanent homes. Improved communications has made it feasible to commute to Stockholm.
