Dryden Lake Park provides a serene setting with its picturesque lake views and well-maintained trails. On race day, the park will be bustling as runners prepare for an 8-hour journey along the rail trail that closely aligns with the 42nd parallel north, marking it geographically significant within the Finger Lakes region of New York State.
Since its inception in recent years, this endurance event has attracted a growing number of participants who appreciate the flexibility and relaxed atmosphere. The race supports local causes through fundraising efforts by runners and teams participating in the solo or relay categories. The course for the Parallel of Latitude Endurance Race is a 3.45-mile out-and-back along a flat rail trail that circles Dryden Lake Park, offering scenic views throughout its entirety. The start/finish line will be at W Lake Rd., near the big pavilion in the park where racers can find essential supplies and amenities like coolers and shade structures for breaks.

All distances require pre-registration through https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=132490 and come with fees: $50.00 for solo entries and $35.00 for relay teams.
Bib pickup will be available at Dryden Lake Park on Friday, September 26th from noon until race start time in the morning of Saturday, September 27th. Runners are advised to bring their printed or digital registration confirmation along with a valid photo ID if needed. Start location is W Lake Rd., just minutes away from the park entrance.
