Immerse yourself in Thorpe Meadows for Strava Things, an enchanting race that pays homage to the beloved TV show "Stranger Things." Participants will experience the unique twist of running the 5.3km loop course in reverse, offering a fresh perspective on familiar terrain.
The event welcomes runners of all abilities with its flexible format, allowing participants to choose their own distance from 5 kilometers up to an ultra marathon within a six-hour time limit. Start anytime between 08:00 am and 11:00 am (registration opens at 7:30 am), making it easy for runners to rock up when they're ready without the pressure of strict start times.
The course itself is a scenic mix, featuring tarmac paths, grassy fields, and woodland trails. With only about 8 meters of elevation gain spread across each lap, the terrain remains mostly flat except for one short but steep incline around 2.3 miles in. This challenging yet manageable stretch adds an element of excitement to your run.
Strava Things promises a memorable experience with its bespoke finisher's medal and the opportunity to explore Thorpe Meadows from a new angle.
