Starting between 7:30 am and 8:30 am, participants can choose from various lap options ranging from a quick trail fix to ultra-marathon territory. Each lap is precisely measured at 5.36 kilometers (3.35 miles), allowing runners to tackle distances such as the half marathon or full marathon with ease. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll, this event caters to everyone's pace and ambition.
The park’s picturesque setting offers a mix of well-maintained paths—both gravel and tarmac—that wind through serene lakeside tracks and lush woodland trails. The terrain is generally flat but includes the iconic "Wurly" Bridge, a Brutalist-style concrete spiral footbridge that loops over Swindon's M4 motorway before descending into the park’s wooded railway path.
