PLIMOTH'S CIDER DONUT 5K

The Fall Festival 5K returns to the charming town of Plymouth, Massachusetts on October 18, 2026. The race commences at 9:30 AM from Plimoth Plantation, offering participants a delightful morning run through scenic trails amidst historical landmarks.
Runners and walkers will enjoy picturesque views as they traverse iconic sites such as Plimoth Rock and Mayflower II. This event marks the second year of the Fall Festival 5K, which welcomed over 300 runners in its inaugural edition last October. The race continues to support local businesses by providing freshly baked cider donuts at the finish line for all participants.
For adults aged 21 or older (ID required), Vitamin Sea Brewing will serve refreshing beverages; non-alcoholic options are also available. Temperatures during the race will range between 9.4°C and 17.5°C, with low humidity around 75.5%, ensuring comfortable conditions despite some light precipitation expected.
The course features a varied terrain with firm and slightly soft paths set against an average wind speed of 12.4 km/h on race day. Minimal elevation changes make the route suitable for runners of all fitness levels, while several aid stations ensure hydration points throughout the course.
For younger participants, a Kids Munchkin' Run is also available, starting at 9:15 AM and covering approximately one-quarter of the distance. The event caters to runners aged six and above with an age requirement for the main race.
Registration can be completed online via https://raceroster.com/events/2026/112039/plimoths-cider-donut-5k, with fees set at $34.09 per adult and $10.55 for children in the Kids Munchkin' Run. The registration deadline is 7 days before race day at midnight.
Participants are encouraged to arrive early from 8:30 AM onwards on October 18 to collect their bib numbers, which will be located at Plimoth Plantation, situated at 636 Crapo Road, Plymouth, MA 02360. The event promises a celebration of exercise and community spirit in the crisp autumn air.
