Join Saturn Too for an enchanting midweek adventure with the Pop Up Ghost Run, where every finisher gets to choose their own medal from past events. This affordable and inclusive race welcomes runners of all abilities, including walkers, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a fun and supportive atmosphere. The event takes place along a picturesque stretch of the River Thames, featuring well-maintained paths and tarmac surfaces with just a short grass section. The course is fully signed for easy navigation, making it accessible even to those without extensive trail experience. Participants have complete control over their distance within a 7-hour time limit, starting from a minimum of 3km. Runners who achieve distances such as half-marathon (13 miles), marathon (26 miles), or ultra distances will receive corresponding pins with their medals, celebrating each milestone in style. The event also offers special discounts for UK Athletics affiliated club members and Saturn Too members, ensuring that everyone can participate at an affordable price. Aid stations are conveniently located throughout the course, providing a variety of snacks including savoury items, sweet treats, fruits, cheese, and vegan options to keep you fueled during your run. Additionally, all finishers receive a goody bag filled with goodies to enjoy after their race. The event venue features toilets at The Last Hop but no changing facilities or showers are available on-site. However, the downstairs toilet area is spacious enough for runners who need quick changes before and after the race. Free parking can be found in Bridge Street Car Park near Staines town center. Race day instructions will be sent via email a week prior to the event with all necessary details including number pick-up information at registration on-site. Participants are encouraged to leave personal belongings securely stored at designated areas provided by organizers, though valuables should not be left unattended throughout the race. Saturn Too invites you to celebrate special milestones during this unique running experience and offers personalized recognition for significant achievements like your 50th or 100th run with a custom number bearing your name. This event is licensed under UK Athletics rules and managed by Saturn Too Limited, ensuring high standards of organization and safety.
