Punk Panther Spring Headtorch Half

Nestled in the tranquil setting of Swinsty Moor Car Park, North Lane, LS21 2NP, this race promises an engaging experience for runners of various distances. Participants must pre-register by 6:45pm at the Punk Panther Gazebo near the toilet block to secure their spot among a limited field of 150 entrants.
The event offers three distance options: half marathon, 10km, and 5km, each winding through scenic paths around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs. The terrain features gentle climbs totaling approximately 800 feet for the half-marathon route, with corresponding elevations of 400 feet and 200 feet for the 10km and 5km courses respectively.
Runners will begin their journey at 7pm from Swinsty Moor Car Park. The race course is untaped but clearly marked to ensure a smooth run through the picturesque reservoir surroundings. A brief overview of the route and event details will be provided during registration, ensuring all participants are well-informed before setting off.
Water stations will be available after completing one lap at the Punk Panther Gazebo for those on longer routes, as well as at the finish line to help quench thirst post-race. As you cross the finish line near the woods and make your way back towards the car park, every participant can look forward to receiving a medal commemorating their achievement.
Parking is available in Swinsty Moor Car Park but requires payment via card for £3 providing up to six hours of parking. The event concludes at 11pm with results published online following the race day excitement. Joining the Facebook group will provide participants with additional information and opportunities to connect with fellow runners before, during, and after the event.
