Ride for ReachOut invites cyclists to pedal through the picturesque Hampshire countryside, all while supporting life-changing mentoring programs for young people. This year’s event takes place at Bereleigh Estate and promises an unforgettable day of cycling, community spirit, and fundraising. Participants can choose from a variety of routes—track, trail, or road—that wind through the stunning South Downs. Each route is carefully designed to cater to different skill levels while offering breathtaking views along the way. The ride leaders are seasoned professionals who will ensure that everyone stays safe and enjoys every moment on their bikes. The day kicks off with breakfast at 8:00 am, featuring a hearty selection of pastries, rolls, tea, and coffee to fuel up before hitting the road. Riders depart for their chosen routes starting from 9:30 am. Midway through the ride, participants can stop by the award-winning Flower Pots Inn between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm. Here, they’ll enjoy a well-deserved pit stop with coffee, tea, cakes, flapjacks, and brownies—perfect for recharging before heading back to Bereleigh Estate. Upon returning to the start/finish line around 1:30 pm, riders will be greeted by wood-fired pizza, beer, wine, and soft drinks. The afternoon is filled with finish-line celebrations where past mentees share their inspiring stories about how ReachOut’s programs have made a difference in their lives. This heartwarming presentation underscores the importance of every participant's contribution. The event concludes at 5:00 pm, providing ample opportunity for networking and socializing among fellow riders and supporters. By committing to raise £300 through fundraising efforts, cyclists can secure one of ReachOut’s free charity places, making this a rewarding experience both personally and philanthropically.
