This year marks not only another chapter for our beloved VTT event but also introduces its second gravel challenge alongside a dedicated pedestrian route. The Wall of Plague is more than just an adventure; it's an exploration through the scenic Monts du Vaucluse, where participants can choose from four distinct cycling routes catering to all skill levels. From beginners seeking a family-friendly experience to seasoned riders craving technical challenges and smooth trails alike, there’s something for everyone. Cycling Routes: - 15km: A gentle 294m climb offering an ideal introduction. - 25km: For those looking to stretch their legs with a more demanding 685m ascent. - 37km: Challenging riders with over 1,100 meters of elevation gain and varied terrain. - 47km: The ultimate test for the most experienced cyclists, featuring an impressive 1,485 meter climb. Pedestrian Routes: - 11km: A gentle stroll through the countryside with a modest 318m ascent. - 13km: For those seeking more distance and elevation without venturing into cycling territory. The gravel route offers: - 60km: An adventure through rugged paths, with detailed maps provided via QR code just before race day, ensuring you're well-prepared for the terrain ahead. Participants will gather at Salle La Grange in Lagnes to collect their event materials and enjoy a communal grill-out upon completion. Each route is marked by strategic checkpoints offering refreshments along the way, ensuring that everyone stays energized throughout their journey.
