ReBoot in Bermagui Ocean Swims 2026

On Sunday, October 4th, Horseshoe Bay welcomes swimmers for the ReBoot ocean swims, offering two distinct challenges: a shorter and more intense option as well as an iconic longer course.
The morning kicks off at 8 am with registration opening, allowing participants to check in and get ready for their swim adventure. The first event begins promptly at 9 am with a 350-meter point-to-point swim across Horseshoe Bay. Swimmers will start from one end of the picturesque beach and make their way to the other side, all while being supported by local lifeguards and marine rescue teams.
For those looking for an extended challenge, the second event starts at 9:15 am with a 1.2-kilometer swim around Horseshoe Bay. This course winds its way through idyllic waters near Bermagui's Surf Club, offering panoramic views of the bay and surrounding coastline. As in the shorter race, this longer distance is professionally timed and supported by local lifeguards to ensure safety.
Participants have the option to sign up for both events as a bundle, receiving a discount on entry fees while enjoying the full experience Horseshoe Bay has to offer. Wetsuits are permitted for all swimmers, and swim caps will be provided at no extra cost upon registration.
To enhance the day's festivities, breakfast is served from 8 am until 10:30 am at Bermagui Surf Club, giving participants a chance to refuel before or after their races. This event promises not only an exhilarating challenge but also a memorable experience in one of Australia’s most scenic coastal locations.
