Reedham Ten

On January 17, 2027, runners will gather at Reedham Village Hall in Norfolk for the first race of the SPORTLINK Grand Prix Series. This championship-level event offers participants a challenging yet scenic 10-mile course that circles through picturesque villages along The Broads.
The route starts and finishes at Reedham Village Hall, taking competitors alongside the serene waters of The Broads before heading into Limpenhoe, Southwood, Freethorpe, and Wickhampton. Each village adds its unique charm to this circular journey, immersing runners in a blend of natural beauty and rural tranquility.
Race day begins at 10:00 am with marshals providing exceptional support throughout the course. Upon completion, participants can enjoy refreshments and cake provided by the Reedham Village Hall committee. The event is licensed under number 30222, ensuring all safety measures are in place for a smooth race experience.
Entry fees of £27 for affiliated runners and £29 for unaffiliated competitors help fund this well-organized affair. Race numbers will be mailed out approximately one week before the event to ensure participants have their bibs on time. Transfers can still be made until midnight on January 6th, offering flexibility in registration.
A bespoke medal awaits all finishers at the line, marking a memorable achievement for each runner. Parking is available on the village hall playing field; organizers encourage car-sharing and early arrival to secure spots close by. No bag drop facilities are provided as vehicles will be nearby throughout the race day.
Refreshments remain a highlight of post-race activities, complemented by toilet amenities within the Village Hall and eight portable loos for added convenience. Runners should note that leaving personal items unattended is not advisable due to security concerns.
Prizes include course record bonuses (£50) with existing records standing at 49:53 minutes overall (open division) and 57:27 minutes for women. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers, as well as age group winners from senior categories onwards in five-year increments up to 75+. A special trophy recognizes the most senior participants.
