RIVINGTON WILD TRAIL RUNS 2027

Embark on an exhilarating journey through the rugged beauty of Rivington, nestled within the West Pennine Moors, as Wild Deer hosts its inaugural trail run series. On January 16, 2027, runners will have the unique opportunity to explore scenic routes that wind beneath the majestic Rivington Pike.
Choose from three challenging distances: a short yet invigorating 5km loop, a more extensive 10km course, or an ambitious Half Marathon trek. Each route is meticulously marked and designed to showcase the area's stunning natural beauty, offering breathtaking views of rolling hills and lush valleys.
Participants will gather at Rivington Hall for their respective start times: the 10km and half marathon runners will take off at 10:00 am, followed by the 5km group starting promptly at 10:15 am. The event features live chip-timing provided by Timing Up North to ensure accurate results.
Upon crossing the finish line, expect a warm welcome with an event medal and Wild Deer merchandise available for purchase. Refreshments will be on hand to help you recharge after your run. For those looking to commemorate their participation in style, bespoke event t-shirts can be added to your entry at just £14 when signing up.
This trail running experience is not only open to human runners but also welcomes a well-controlled dog per runner, provided the dogs remain leashed throughout the course.
