ROTHER VALLEY REMEMBRANCE DAY TRAIL RUNS 2026

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Rother Valley Country Park near Sheffield this Remembrance Day with our WILD Trail Runs. The park offers an enchanting backdrop for runners to challenge themselves or simply enjoy the stunning scenery on November 8th, starting at 9:30 AM.
Choose from a variety of distances tailored to suit all levels of experience and ambition:
- A scenic 5km course designed for those aged over 11 years.
- An invigorating 10km route suitable for runners aged 15 and above.
- For the first time, we introduce an exhilarating Half Marathon open to participants aged 17 or older.
The event takes place along trails that diverge from the usual Parkrun routes, leading you through tranquil woodland paths and around serene lakes. The terrain is undulating, providing a mix of elevation changes that add excitement for seasoned runners while still being manageable for newcomers looking for an adventurous run.
At 11 AM sharp, there will be a two-minute silence at the event area to honor those who have served their country.
Upon crossing the finish line, all participants will receive:
- A bespoke event medal
- Exclusive Wild Deer merchandise (such as socks or a buff)
- Refreshments including snacks and drinks

Remember that parking is available on-site but must be paid for at the ticket machines upon arrival.
