Rugeley 10 Miler

Join the Rugeley Runners for their annual 10 Mile Race on February 14, 2027. This scenic race begins at Redbrook Hayes School and offers runners an engaging mix of open roads through picturesque countryside.
Race Details:

- Start Line: Main Brereton Road
The race start is a short walk from the school headquarters and begins on the wide, closed section of Main Brereton Road. Participants will enjoy chip timing at the starting mat for an accurate record.
Route Highlights:
Runners traverse open roads with scenic countryside views throughout the 10-mile course. The route includes two water stations—one at mile 3.5 and another at mile 7—providing essential hydration along the way. Each station also offers waste drop points to ensure environmental responsibility during the race.
Awards & Medals:
- Cash Prizes: Top male and female finishers receive cash prizes, with an additional £100 for breaking course records.
- Age Category Winners: Awards will be given in various age categories.
- Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a bespoke medal designed specifically for the 2027 event.
Facilities:
Redbrook Hayes School hosts race-day facilities including toilets, bag drop areas, and refreshments. The school acts as your base of operations throughout the day with all necessary amenities close by.
Car Parking & Transportation:
With up to 350 runners expected, car sharing is encouraged due to limited parking spaces at Race HQ (approximately 150 cars). Official car parks are available for use and can be found via an interactive Google map. Car park marshals will assist with guidance until 9:15 AM on race day.
