Rumble In The Jumble III

Rumble in the Jumble III invites runners of all levels to test their limits along an old railway line near Skellingthorpe Community Centre. This 6-hour timed challenge offers flexibility, allowing participants to run anywhere from a 5k up to an ultra marathon distance within the allotted time frame.
Registration opens at 8:45am for this event that starts promptly at 9:30am. The course features laps of either 3.28 miles or 4.37 miles, with clear turn points for various distances such as a 10k after two laps and a half marathon completed in three to four laps depending on the chosen lap length.
Runners will enjoy well-stocked tables at each lap's end offering water, squash, fizzy drinks, and an array of food options. The terrain is mostly flat tarmac along the old railway line with brief sections over fields at the start and finish lines. This out-and-back course requires no navigation skills, making it ideal for runners focusing on endurance.
Toilets are conveniently located in a pavilion near the playing field where parking is also available. Participants can complete their last lap up until 5:59pm to ensure they fit within the event's time constraints. Upon crossing the finish line, all participants will receive a medal and a goody bag as a token of appreciation for their effort.
