The setting is lively, with runners starting their journey from Kerrabee Sound Shell precinct on Blair Street Moama.
This event has been running since its inception in 2023 under the name Johnno’s Run before becoming known as Run Echuca Moama. It raises funds for Community Living & Respite Services (CLRS), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting people with disabilities. Since its launch, it has grown into one of the community's most anticipated events, drawing participants from near and far.
The course venue is firm but slightly soft due to typical August weather conditions, which can range from 5.9 degrees Celsius at minimum up to a comfortable 16.0 degrees Celsius by midday. The race layout includes notable features such as the start and finish points situated in the Kerrabee Sound Shell precinct, with elevation changes minimal.
Participants have the option of registering online until 6am on race day or from Race HQ between 6:30am to ensure they are among those starting at the designated times. Fees for each event range from A$10.00 for the Frinkle Junior Bolt through to A$80.00 for the full marathon, with early registration closing just before that deadline.
Registration can be completed via https://raceroster.com/events/2026/113618/run-echuca-moama-2026. Bib pickup will take place at Race HQ on race morning from 7am to prepare for the run, with runners advised to bring their ID and payment confirmation if they have registered online.
The start location is Kerrabee Sound Shell precinct on Blair Street Moama, where all participants should gather by 8:00 am. The event welcomes runners of any age but particularly encourages families with young children who can participate in the Fun Run specifically designed for ages five years and under—entry is free!
