Run For Pie 5K & Kids 1 Mile Fun Run

The event takes place in the charming town of Lisbon, Iowa, where participants will traverse a flat and scenic out-and-back course that begins at South Jackson Street City Park. The park offers ample space for runners to warm up before the race starts, along with playground equipment for children to enjoy while parents participate or cheer from the sidelines.
The race is chip-timed, ensuring accurate results available for printouts after you cross the finish line. A water station strategically placed near the halfway turnaround point provides hydration as needed during your run. As you complete the course and return to South Jackson Street City Park, you'll be greeted with a slice of freshly-baked apple pie—a unique reward that celebrates both local culinary traditions and the race's charitable mission.
Awards are given out for overall male and female winners in the form of Haitian art pieces, while age group awards offer runners an even more special prize: their choice from a selection of home-baked pies donated by generous community members. Age groups range from 10 years old and under to those aged 70 and over.
