Tri for Real Triathlon Series returns to Rancho Seco Park in Herald, California, on June 5th, July 10th, and August 7th, offering athletes three opportunities to compete in the Olympic-distance Championship. Participants who race all three events will be eligible for age group series champion awards. The TRI for REAL Triathlon features a challenging course with a 1.5-kilometer swim in serene waters, followed by a 40-kilometer bike ride through scenic landscapes and ending with a grueling yet rewarding 10-kilometer run along the park's trails. Each event includes USA Triathlon-sanctioned races for the Olympic distance triathlon and aquabike categories. Race day amenities include swim caps provided to all participants, post-race refreshments, and commemorative finisher gear that celebrates your achievement. The Super Sprint Triathlon offers a shorter but equally intense experience with a 200-yard swim, four-mile bike ride, and one-mile run. Registration starts at 6:30 AM on race day for early arrivals to pick up packets before the event begins. Entry into Rancho Seco Park incurs a $15 vehicle fee per car. For those participating in the Super Sprint Triathlon, parking is available approximately one mile from the start line due to course closures between 7:30 and 8 AM. Relay teams are also welcome at this year's event, adding an element of teamwork and camaraderie among participants. Each race offers a unique atmosphere with enthusiastic crowds cheering on athletes throughout their journey around Rancho Seco Park. The Tri for Real Series Champions program rewards dedicated triathletes who complete all three TRI for REAL events in the summer series. This prestigious recognition is awarded to both men and women across various age groups, celebrating perseverance and athletic excellence over multiple race dates. Volunteers are invited to join TBF Racing's Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program where they can earn a $50 voucher towards future event entries by committing four hours of their time assisting with the races. Email Volunteers@totalbodyfitness.com to secure your volunteer position as spots fill up quickly. TBF Racing adheres strictly to its no-refund policy but offers race credits minus processing fees for cancellations made prior to race week. Transfers between events are permitted within a one-year timeframe, subject to a $25 transfer fee and disallowed during the event week itself. All Tri for Real races proceed regardless of weather conditions, ensuring that athletes can focus on their performance without worrying about unexpected interruptions.
