Run Lovit

Run Lovit returns to Hot Springs, Arkansas on Saturday, February 27th, offering a unique endurance experience for runners of all levels along the scenic Lake Ouachita Vista Trail in the Ouachita National Forest. The event features three challenging distances: a grueling 100 Miler, an intense 100K race, and a demanding yet accessible 50K run, each with its own cutoff times to ensure safety and manageability for participants.
The Lake Ouachita Vista Trail (LOViT), one of only forty trails worldwide to receive the IMBA Epic designation, winds through rocky hills and ridgelines along the southern rim of America’s pristine freshwater lake. Race day begins early in the morning with temperatures ranging from cold to cool, making it essential for runners to dress appropriately for brisk conditions that may include a slight chill or light breeze at dawn.
Run Lovit has been an integral part of trail development efforts since 2014 when race proceeds helped fund the completion of the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail. Each year, participants not only enjoy the challenging course but also contribute to maintaining and improving trails within the Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs area through their entry fees.
The race offers a rigorous 160.9K for those seeking an extreme challenge, followed by a 100K option for runners looking to test their endurance on firm yet slightly soft terrain. For shorter but still intense distances, participants can opt for the 50K route that winds through rugged and picturesque landscapes. Each distance is designed with specific cutoff times reflecting its difficulty level.
