About the Event

Join us on December 5, 2026, for the festive Run Rudolph Run at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM). The day kicks off with a family-friendly 1K race starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a scenic and flat 5K course beginning around 10:15 AM. Both races wind through parts of the historic area within JBLM, offering runners stunning views of this military base's rich history.
Participants can look forward to post-race festivities near the Sasquatch Saloon with hot chocolate, cookies, and complimentary beverages provided as part of your race packet. Enjoy live music while you relax and mingle with fellow racers in a warm holiday atmosphere.
Registration fees vary based on affiliation: Military members pay $40 for the 5K and $20 for the 1K, while non-military participants will be charged $50 for the longer distance and $25 for the shorter one. Online registration closes at midnight on December 2nd; day-of race sign-ups are available between 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the MWR Fest Tent area.
Packets can also be picked up ahead of time from Friday, December 1st through Sunday, November 15th (between 11:00am - 6:00pm) at the Sasquatch Saloon. Early registrants receive event t-shirts; those registering after this date will not have shirts available.
