Devon Running Events invites you to experience a unique running challenge during your holiday break in the picturesque county of Devon. The event series takes place from December 28th, 2026 through January 3rd, 2027, offering an array of options to suit various preferences and fitness levels. For those seeking flexibility and convenience, our 'TUGG' system (Turn Up Get Going) allows participants to join anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM on the designated days. However, all runners must complete their final lap by 3:30 PM. The course is a scenic 5.3-kilometer loop along an old disused train line, which has been transformed into a beautiful tarmac trail perfect for both walking and running. The route offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside as you traverse the well-maintained path at your own pace. Participants can choose to run one lap or tackle up to fourteen laps within the allotted time frame. Each participant who completes any portion by 3:30 PM will receive a finisher's medal, celebrating their achievement regardless of distance covered. Whether you're looking for a leisurely stroll or an intense workout, this event series provides ample opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of Devon while engaging in physical activity at your own pace.
