About the Event
Devon Running Events invites you to experience our Autumn Challenge Day 1, scheduled for Saturday, October 10th, 2026. This unique event operates under the "TUGG" system—Turn Up Get Going—which means participants can arrive anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM but must complete their final lap by 3:30 PM. The course is a picturesque 5.3-kilometer out-and-back route along an old disused train line, offering scenic views throughout the run or walk. The path is accurately measured and classified as Road due to its tarmac surface, making it suitable for all abilities—from casual walkers to seasoned runners. Participants are free to choose their pace and distance, with options ranging from a single lap to multiple laps within the given timeframe. Regardless of how far you go, everyone who finishes by 3:30 PM is considered a finisher and will receive a commemorative medal. The event welcomes all levels of fitness, ensuring that whether you complete one or fourteen laps, your achievement will be recognized. With limited spots available, early registration is recommended to secure your place in this invigorating autumn race. In the unlikely event that capacity is reached, latecomers can still participate and receive a specially designed medal from our selection on the day of the event.
