Running Events Devon - New Year 5 in 5 Bell Challenge (2026-2027)

Devon Running Events invites you to kick off the New Year with an exciting 5-day running and walking challenge along the scenic, disused train line that winds through Devon's picturesque countryside. Participants can select any five consecutive days within the given period to complete their runs or walks at a pace comfortable for them.
The event is designed to accommodate all abilities, from casual walkers to avid runners. Each day offers an out-and-back course of 5.3 kilometers on tarmac, allowing participants ample time and flexibility to explore this historic route. The Turn Up Get Going (TUGG) system means you can start anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM but must finish by 3:30 PM.
The course is accurately measured and classified as a road race, ensuring that every step taken contributes to the total distance. With seven hours available each day, runners have plenty of time to enjoy the scenic beauty around them while setting their own pace. Whether you plan to complete one lap or multiple laps over the week, everyone who crosses the finish line will be recognized as a winner and receive an event medal.
