Rye Summer 5k Series: Race Five

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve as you take part in the Rye Summer Classic Series, an exceptional five-race series that offers runners unparalleled access to one of Britain's most cherished conservation sites. Situated along the coast of East Sussex, this nature reserve is a mosaic of interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarshes, grazing areas, reed beds, and saline lagoons, providing a diverse landscape for all participants.
The series kicks off in May and concludes with its final race on September 4th at 18:30. For the last edition of the year, runners will have the option to participate in either a 5k or a junior run, featuring a flat and fast tarmac course that is ideal for achieving quick times if conditions permit.
Each event offers an intimate atmosphere with vibrant race day energy, making it perfect for both beginners looking to ease into racing and seasoned athletes seeking a challenge. The September edition will focus solely on the 5k distance, ensuring participants can enjoy every step of this picturesque route while taking in stunning coastal views along the way.

Registration fees are £20 for adults participating in the 5k run, while junior runners can enter at just £7 per person. On-the-day entries will also be available but subject to availability and may vary slightly depending on demand.
