About the Event

The Saddle Hills Ultra Run begins and concludes at the picturesque Spring Lake Ski Hill within Saddle Hills County. This rugged 20 km loop trail offers an unparalleled trail-running experience, meandering through scenic equestrian pathways and rolling foothills that provide over 200 meters of elevation gain per circuit.
This challenging yet rewarding course is designed to test even the most seasoned athletes while offering breathtaking views at every turn. Runners can select from three distances: a beginner-friendly 20 km option, an intermediate 40 km route, or the more ambitious 60 km Ultra distance, which comprises three full loops of the shorter path.
For those seeking a team challenge, relay teams are also welcome to participate in this event that combines natural beauty with athletic rigor. Whether you're aiming for your first ultra-distance run or simply looking to conquer an impressive day on the trails, Saddle Hills provides a tough yet honest course set against stunning landscapes.
