SATURN TOO - Midweek Medal Madness Run July 2026

About the Event

Saturn Too invites you to the July Midweek Medal Madness Run, an affordable race designed for flexibility and inclusivity. With start times ranging from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Friday, this event offers participants a wide window of opportunity to meet their running goals or simply enjoy a leisurely jog along the picturesque River Thames.
The core attraction is its time challenge format, allowing runners to cover as little as 3 kilometers or extend their journey for up to seven hours. Each lap around the course measures approximately 7 kilometers (or may be adjusted based on conditions), offering options from half marathons and full marathons to ultra distances beyond 50 kilometers. This setup ensures that participants can tailor their experience according to personal fitness levels, aspirations, or simply for enjoyment.
The route itself winds through a scenic stretch of the River Thames, featuring well-maintained paths predominantly made of tarmac with only minor grass sections. The course is clearly marked and navigational skills are not required, making it accessible even for less experienced runners. Road shoes suffice year-round, ensuring comfort throughout any weather conditions.
A significant highlight is the medal awarded upon completion of at least 3 kilometers—a testament to every runner’s effort regardless of distance covered. Additionally, all finishers receive a goody bag filled with treats and refreshments, including vegan options for those adhering to plant-based diets.
For runners aiming higher achievements, Saturn Too offers distance pins celebrating half-marathon distances or longer, marking milestones like the Half-Marathon Pin, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km, and Ultra Pins. These accolades are attached directly onto your medal ribbon as a visual reminder of your accomplishment.
Support facilities include an extensive aid table at the start/finish area offering a variety of snacks such as fruits, savory items, cheese platters, and vegan-friendly choices to keep you fueled throughout your run. Toilets and changing rooms are conveniently located within the venue's headquarters and will be open from 8 AM until the event concludes.
Participants can also leave personal belongings at designated areas near the start/finish line, though it is advised not to store valuable items due to limited supervision during the race day.
Saturn Too ensures that all participants receive detailed pre-race instructions via email prior to the event and allows for number pick-up on-site before starting times. The event takes place in Runnymede Pleasure Grounds where ample parking space with pay-on-exit options is available nearby.
Join Saturn Too's July Midweek Medal Madness Run, embracing flexibility while enjoying a scenic route along the Thames—perfectly blending affordability with memorable achievement.
This race promises an unforgettable experience for runners of all levels in a beautiful setting that celebrates effort and accomplishment.

About Egham

Scenic view of

Egham is a town in the Borough of Runnymede in Surrey, England, approximately 19 miles (31 km) west of central London. First settled in the Bronze Age, the town was under the control of Chertsey Abbey for much of the Middle Ages. In 1215, Magna Carta was sealed by King John at Runnymede, to the north of Egham, having been chosen for its proximity to the King's residence at Windsor. Under the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the early 16th Century, the major, formerly ecclesiastical, manorial freehold interests in the town and various market revenues passed to the Crown.
