SAWE 2026 World Record International Marathon Festival invites runners to experience an exhilarating two-day road racing event at the picturesque Geumsan World Ginseng Expo Plaza in Chungcheongnam-do on December 5 and 6, 2026. Each day features a single 14 km race with staggered start times for four distinct groups—A, B, C, and D—to accommodate up to 12,000 participants per session, totaling 24,000 runners over the weekend.
Registration opened on August 31 at 10:00 AM for the premium Peba Carbon Marathon Shoe Package priced at KRW 250,000 and closed early due to high demand. The T-shirt package followed suit a day later with an entry fee of KRW 100,000, also closing ahead of schedule. Both options remained available until September 10, although the event organizers noted that categories could sell out earlier on a first-come, first-served basis.
Group A participants must provide proof of completing a 10 km race within the last twelve months by October 20 to secure their spot in this competitive category. All runners will receive an electronic certificate link via text approximately half an hour after crossing the finish line.
