The Hood to Coast Relay, nestled in the heart of Oregon, invites runners from around the globe for an unforgettable journey. This iconic relay spans 199 miles, stretching from the majestic summit of Mount Hood down to the Pacific Ocean's sandy shores. With a storied history spanning three decades and participants hailing from over 40 countries each year, this event is renowned as the world’s premier running and walking relay. Joining Team Semper Fi & America's Fund offers an unparalleled opportunity to support service members through The Fund's Recovery Through Sport program. This unique partnership blends the camaraderie of military veterans with community athletes who raise funds for a worthy cause. Each participant commits to raising at least $3,000, which covers costs and supports a member’s participation in this epic adventure. Registration fees are set at $225 per person, and upon signing up, you'll receive your own personalized fundraising page where you can share inspiring messages and photos with supporters. Every team member will be decked out in the official Semper Fi & America's Fund running shirt as they embark on this incredible journey. Travel to Portland is at each participant’s expense, but once there, The Fund provides transport vans for seamless movement between relay legs during the event weekend from August 27th through August 30th. Participants should plan their arrival in Portland by Thursday, August 27th and remain until Sunday, August 31st to fully immerse themselves in this remarkable experience. The Hood to Coast Relay is more than just a race; it's an adventure that weaves together breathtaking scenery, challenging terrain, and the spirit of community.
