Over time, this fund has grown thanks to generous donations from event participants like you. The 5K course winds through picturesque trails and paved paths near Pottstown's historic Old Reading Pike; meanwhile, the 10-Miler takes runners over the Douglassville Bridge before turning around for a scenic return trip. For families looking to enjoy the day without committing to longer distances, there’s also a Family Fun Loop in Riverfront Park that welcomes strollers and children of all ages.
The Schuylkill Shuffle features varied terrain throughout its courses: while much of it is paved trail suitable for quick footfalls or rolling jogs, some sections incorporate crushed gravel paths that add an extra challenge. The 5K route begins at Pottstown Riverfront Park before leading runners along the riverbank and through local neighborhoods with scenic views. At approximately five kilometers, participants will loop back to where they started, greeted by cheering crowds as they cross the finish line.
For those tackling the longer distances, such as the 10-Miler which extends for ten miles over a mix of paved trails and crushed gravel paths, there are additional landmarks along the way. Crossing the Douglassville Bridge marks a notable point in this scenic course before runners turn around to head back towards Pottstown's heart. Throughout both routes, water stations will be available every few kilometers from 9:00 am until noon, ensuring that all participants stay hydrated and energized.

Early bird discounts are available until September 15th when participants can sign up for $20 less than the regular rate.
Packet pickup is scheduled on Friday, October 9th from noon to four PM at the SRG office located at 140 College Drive in Pottstown, or directly before race day starting at seven thirty AM at Pottstown Riverfront Park. All participants must bring a photo ID and be prepared to show their registration confirmation for packet collection.
The Schuylkill Shuffle is set to commence with the 5K beginning promptly at nine o'clock am followed shortly after by the start of the ten-mile run, while families can join in the fun from nine thirty AM. Regardless of which distance you choose, everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a commemorative SRT Beanie as a token of appreciation for supporting the Stewardship Fund.
