Shine Together 3k/5k

Join the vibrant community of runners and supporters for Shine Together on August 8, 2026, at the University Of Manitoba's Duckworth Quad. This engaging event offers both 3k and 5k routes through scenic pathways that wind around lush green spaces, providing a picturesque backdrop for participants.
The race is organized by Shinerama in collaboration with Cystic Fibrosis Canada to raise awareness and funds for cystic fibrosis research and support services. As you lace up your running shoes on the morning of August 8th, expect an energizing atmosphere filled with enthusiastic volunteers and fellow runners who share a common goal.
The event kicks off at 10:00 AM sharp, but it's recommended to arrive by 9:30 AM for pre-race preparations. Participants can enjoy water stations along the course as well as post-race refreshments in the quad area where there will be opportunities to learn more about cystic fibrosis and how you can continue supporting this cause.
