Sinister 7 Ultra invites solo runners and teams up to seven members for an epic adventure across the rugged terrain surrounding Seven Sisters Mountain. With four distance options—100 miles, 50 miles, 50 kilometers, and a half marathon—the race offers something thrilling for every level of endurance athlete. The course is meticulously divided into seven stages, each highlighting unique geographic features and rich local history. Racers have a generous window of up to 30 hours to complete the challenge, allowing them to soak in the stunning scenery as they navigate through diverse landscapes ranging from dense forests to rocky peaks. For those looking for an added layer of competition, Sinister 7 Ultra is also recognized by Athletics Canada as part of their national trail running championships. In both 2027 and 2028, the 50k distance will serve as the Short Trail Championship race, while the 50-mile event will be designated as the Long Trail Championship.
