SMILES FROM HEAVEN SUPERHEROES 5K

The Superheroes 5K, set to take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at North Central Park, invites runners and walkers of all ages to join this vibrant family-friendly race. Participants can register online or opt for onsite registration the day of the event starting from 7:00 AM.
The park offers ample free parking inside its grounds, making it easy for families to gather before the festivities begin. The official start time is at 8:00 AM when runners and walkers will set off on a scenic course designed with safety in mind. Children aged six and under must be accompanied by an adult throughout the race.
The event welcomes strollers but requires them to line up towards the back of the starting pack for everyone's comfort and security. Pets are not permitted, except for certified service animals upon prior approval from Race Director Jose Munoz at 956-337-8967.
Race day will feature a well-marked course with cones guiding participants through North Central Park’s picturesque paths. Swift Timing, equipped with cutting-edge technology, ensures accurate results and efficient race management. Participants receive disposable timing chips attached to their bibs during packet pickup or at the event itself, eliminating long lines for chip collection or return.
Registration fees vary: $25 for runners, $15 for walkers, and a special rate of just $10 for high school students. A late fee applies on race day if registration is not completed beforehand ($30). The first 150 registrants will receive commemorative event shirts during packet pickup at the Smiles From Heaven office located at 6423 Polaris Dr B1, from 6 PM to 8 PM on Friday, August 21.
With age group awards based strictly on chip time for participants aged 14 and above, this race promises recognition across various categories. Families are encouraged to participate together in a celebration of fitness and community spirit at North Central Park.
