Sportive Kinross

Sportive Kinross returns for its 17th edition on April 17, 2027, continuing to support Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). Cyclists of all levels are invited to experience the scenic routes around Loch Leven and beyond.
The entry fee is £38 plus a 4% service charge. Payment must be made via card through Entry Central. Participants can opt for X Cover insurance during registration, which offers protection against losing their entry fees due to injury or illness.
Registration takes place from 08:00 to 09:30 on the day of the event at Loch Leven Community Campus in Kinross (KY13 8FQ). Riders can choose between three routes: a shorter option of 45 miles, an intermediate route covering 70 miles, and a challenging 93-mile course. All routes are clearly marked with wayfinding signs.
Participants will receive electronic timing chips for accurate race tracking. Feed stations offering refreshments are available along the longer routes, providing essential sustenance to keep riders fueled throughout their journey. The black route has specific time constraints due to its demanding nature; a cut-off point at Dunning requires participants on this route to reach it by 12:30 PM.
Upon completing the race, all cyclists will receive food and an event souvenir as part of their entry fee. Post-ride facilities including changing areas, showers, and toilets are available until 17:00 when limited services remain operational for a short period thereafter before campus closure at 18:00.
Sportive Kinross is not only about the challenge but also about community support. Cyclists must be at least 16 years old to participate; those under 18 require parental or guardian registration and consent.
