On April 3, 2027, cyclists from around the world converge on St. George, Utah, for an unforgettable tour through some of Southern Utah's most stunning landscapes. The Tour of St. George offers riders three distinct routes—30+, 75, and 100 miles—that cater to a wide range of abilities and fitness levels. The journey begins in the heart of downtown St. George as dawn breaks over the city’s iconic red rock formations. As you pedal out from the starting line on Tabernacle Street between 100 West and 200 West, the morning light illuminates the rugged beauty that surrounds you. The route immediately climbs toward the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve, where cyclists skirt the base of towering cliffs before ascending to Red Mountain. From there, riders pass through Snow Canyon State Park, known for its dramatic sandstone formations and lush greenery in stark contrast with the desert landscape. As you continue along this scenic path, the terrain changes dramatically as you dip down into Arizona, crossing state lines en route to Sand Hollow and Quail Creek State Parks. These parks are home to serene lakes and expansive vistas that offer cyclists a chance to catch their breath while enjoying breathtaking views. The return journey takes riders through layers of sandstone cliffs and lush green valleys before concluding back in the heart of St. George, where you'll find an oasis of green surrounded by red rock formations—a fitting end to this challenging yet rewarding ride. Fully stocked rest stops along each route ensure that cyclists are well hydrated and fueled throughout their adventure. The event also features a chip-timed race for those looking to challenge themselves competitively, with the added assurance of sag support vehicles should you need assistance during your tour. With only 600 spots available, early registration is recommended to secure your place in this scenic cycling experience. Participants will receive custom Tour de St. George event medals and T-shirts upon completion of their chosen route. The Spring Tour of St. George invites riders from across the region—just a short drive north of Las Vegas or four hours south of Salt Lake City—to explore one of America’s most unique landscapes on two wheels.
