St Michael's Hospice Run

Join the Run for St Michael's Hospice on Sunday, January 31st at 10:30am along Bexhill-on-Sea’s scenic seafront. Whether you opt for the challenging 10k or the more relaxed 5k route, this event offers a unique blend of coastal beauty and meaningful support.
The race takes place on undulating pavement paths that wind through picturesque seaside vistas. Participants will enjoy stunning views as they run along Bexhill-on-Sea’s vibrant coastline, making it an ideal choice for those training for spring marathons or simply seeking to challenge themselves in a friendly environment.
All runners who complete the event will receive a bespoke medal and a free St Michael's Hospice (SMH) Running Vest. Trophies are awarded to winners of both races. The race’s inclusive nature welcomes participants of all abilities, fostering an atmosphere that is as supportive as it is encouraging.
By participating in this run, you’ll be contributing directly to the vital services provided by St Michael’s Hospice. Your involvement helps support individuals and families across Hastings and Rother who are facing life-limiting illnesses or dealing with loss. The hospice offers specialized palliative care at home, within their facilities, during outpatient appointments, and through their comprehensive Wellbeing Programme.
Your contribution ensures that more local people can access the compassionate care they need when it matters most. Additionally, St Michael’s Hospice provides bereavement support to anyone over 18 living in Hastings and Rother, helping them navigate grief with understanding and compassion.
Registration fees are £30 for the 10k race and £25 for the 5k event, with no refunds available once registered. Comprehensive route information is provided online along with GPX files to help you prepare effectively for your chosen distance.
