Stampede Road Race

Experience the excitement of Calgary's premier running event on July 11, 2027, with races ranging from a fun-filled kids' race to challenging half marathons. Whether you're an experienced runner or just starting out, there’s something for every level.
The day kicks off early at 6:30 AM for the Half Marathon walkers and those aiming for times over two hours forty minutes. Competitive runners with faster estimated times are encouraged to start later at 7:20 AM to ensure accurate race results. The 10K begins at a brisk 8:00 AM, followed closely by the 5K at 8:15 AM.
Participants in all races will receive high-quality T-shirts tailored for men and women from small to XX-large sizes. For younger racers, cotton shirts are available as part of their race package. Medals can be secured upon registration but are not guaranteed once they're sold out, so sign up early to avoid missing out on this special recognition.
The races conclude on the track at Glenmore Park, where post-race festivities await all participants. Enjoy a traditional Stampede Breakfast and mingle with fellow runners while taking in the lively atmosphere. Bag check services will be available near the finish line for your convenience, along with port-a-potties located conveniently by the start area.
Race packages can be picked up at Strides Marda Loop on July 8th from 5-7:30 PM or July 9th from 1-8 PM. On July 10th, pick-up will take place between 10 AM and 4 PM at Strides Fish Creek.
