This unique 3-Hour Trail Challenge invites runners, hikers, and walkers to explore a scenic one-mile loop with approximately 300 feet of elevation gain per lap. Whether you're looking to push your limits or simply enjoy the outdoors at a leisurely pace, this event offers something for everyone.
The challenge starts promptly at 9:00 AM, giving participants three hours to complete as many laps around the picturesque course as they can manage. Each loop is designed to test endurance while offering stunning views of the park's natural beauty. A fully stocked aid station will be available from start to finish, ensuring that you stay fueled and hydrated throughout your adventure.
Entry into this event costs $65, with a special discount for STRC members who receive an additional incentive by joining the club at just $10—a savings of $5 on registration fees. Your entry fee includes access to post-run food served in a relaxed atmosphere under a covered pavilion and picnic tables scattered across the park.
Participants will also be treated to custom BOCO Gear hats, finisher medals for all who complete the challenge, and special awards for male and female winners. The proceeds from this event support local trail running initiatives through donations made by participants.
