SVA Stallion 5K

Spring Valley Academy is proud to present the second annual Stallion 5K, an engaging community event designed to bring together students, families, teachers, and friends. Scheduled for Sunday, August 23rd at Spring Valley Academy, this race offers a delightful morning of running and camaraderie.
The registration process opens immediately with early bird pricing available until August 13th at noon, securing participants a short sleeve shirt along with complimentary entry to the post-race pancake breakfast. For those registering after this date but before the event day, the cost is slightly higher ($40), though shirts are not guaranteed and may be limited on race morning.
Participants can choose from both relaxed and fitted cuts of their t-shirts in sizes ranging from youth small to 4XL. An additional $10 will upgrade your shirt to a performance tee for optimal comfort during your run. All registration must take place online, with the option to pay via credit card or by contacting HomeandSchool@springvalleyacademy.org if you prefer cash/check.
Race day begins at 7:00 AM with packet pickup available until race start time. The event kicks off promptly at 8:00 AM, followed immediately by a walk/run for those pushing strollers and children on bikes. Race timing will conclude at 9:20 AM to ensure all participants have ample opportunity to enjoy the course.
The pancake breakfast in Spring Valley Academy’s cafeteria opens right after the race ends at 8:30 AM, offering delicious fare until noon for registered runners as part of their entry fee and a $5 donation from non-registered guests. Children three years old and under can eat free!
Recognition awards will be given to both male and female winners in various age categories (11 & Under, 12–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+). Additionally, participants will have the chance to support their school by joining a teacher or grade team. The class with the highest number of registrants and sponsorship funds raised will earn special prizes.
Pre-race excitement builds as packet pickup takes place on Friday, August 21st from 2 PM to 4 PM at Spring Valley Academy. On race day, parking is available in both the front and rear lots, entering through the front and exiting via the back right of the school.
The event wouldn’t be possible without generous sponsors who help make this community gathering a success each year. Sponsorship opportunities range from business logos on t-shirts to individual family names starting at $250 for inclusion on race attire.
In case of unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather or public safety concerns, the organizers reserve the right to reschedule, convert the event into a virtual 5K, or cancel it outright. No refunds will be issued and no mailed items will be provided under any condition.
