Swim - Preese Hall (02/10)

Swimmers are invited to explore Preese Hall Farm, located in the tranquil rural Fylde area of Lancashire, for an invigorating morning swim on November 2, 2026. The venue offers a serene lake setting that is mostly chest-deep and safe for swimming, with peaty floors ensuring clear visibility beneath the water's surface.
Participants are reminded to be cautious near the bank as it becomes very shallow on the left side of the lake. Wetsuits are optional but tow floats are compulsory; swimmers should also consider wearing bright-colored hats or bobble hats depending on the season for enhanced safety and visibility.
After your swim, you can warm up by a log burner in the gun room next to the toilets, which will be available exclusively during winter sessions. For those seeking post-swim refreshments, Woody’s Café at Koi Pool Water Gardens is highly recommended as many swimmers have found it an ideal spot for food and conversation.
Changing facilities are flexible: you can change by your vehicle or use the nearby toilet amenities, including the open gun room with its own heating source. Tow floats will be provided if needed along with safety supervision on site to ensure a secure environment throughout the swim session.
To reach Preese Hall Farm from various directions, follow signs and enter through coded gates for access into this private facility. For public transport options, buses 76 (Blackpool – St Annes) or 75 (Fleetwood/Preston – Fleetwood) will drop you near but not directly at the venue; walking distances may vary.
