Tatanka Youth Mountain Bike Race

About the Event

Experience the exhilarating Tatanka Youth Mountain Bike Race, designed for riders across various skill levels—from beginners exploring Strider bikes to seasoned U18 cross-country racers. This unique race is organized by the South Dakota Youth Cycling League and stands as the only youth-focused cycling event in the state.
Race organizers invite participants of all ages to explore the course maps available at https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1N_b7cCXraAma-HNBAWfDMpOUi_1ytTc&usp=sharing. For those eager to familiarize themselves with the terrain, a Friday night social event from 5-8 PM offers an opportunity to ride and enjoy pre-race camaraderie while food is available for purchase to support the South Dakota Youth Cycling League.
Race plates can be picked up at our welcome tent on both Fridays between 5-8 PM and all day Saturday. A reminder that e-bikes are not permitted in this event, ensuring a traditional cycling experience.
