The TBF Mountain Bike Clinic offers an immersive experience for riders of all skill levels, combining professional coaching with practical drills to enhance your off-road riding abilities. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine advanced techniques, this clinic caters to beginners and intermediate-level cyclists alike. During the Level 1 Clinic, participants will dive into essential aspects such as equipment setup, bike maintenance, trail etiquette, gear selection, cadence, shifting gears, balance control, starts and stops, cornering skills on various surfaces, emergency braking techniques, and wheel lifts. The day includes a short group ride to put these newly acquired skills into practice. For those ready for the next challenge, Level 2 dives deeper into mastering terrain reading, line selection strategies, passing techniques with clear communication, climbing and descending methods, obstacle clearing, sand riding, and jumping techniques. This advanced session also features an exploration of granite boulders, jumps, rock gardens, and other challenging terrains. Both clinics are led by experienced TBF coaches who will provide personalized guidance throughout the day, ensuring that each rider receives tailored instruction to improve their skills effectively. Refreshments from Clif Bar and FLUID fuel ensure you stay energized during breaks between sessions. The clinic concludes with a coached ride on local trails at Granite Beach, where participants can apply what they've learned in real-world conditions under professional supervision. This final segment is designed not only for practice but also to solidify the new skills acquired throughout the day. With discussions about favorite riding spots and tips from seasoned coaches, this event promises an engaging mix of education and fun on two wheels.
