About the Event

Devon's Running Events invites you to experience its Winter Challenge Day 1 on January 23, 2027. Embracing the "Turn Up Get Going" (TUGG) philosophy, participants can arrive anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM but must complete their final lap by 3:30 PM. This event caters to all abilities—runners and walkers alike—are welcome.
The route follows a picturesque old disused train line that winds through scenic landscapes for each 5.3-kilometer out-and-back loop, offering runners the chance to enjoy uninterrupted views while covering accurately measured distances on tarmac throughout. Participants can choose how many laps they wish to complete within the designated timeframe—whether it's one lap or fourteen—and every finisher will receive a medal.
This event promises an inclusive and flexible approach to racing, encouraging individuals to set their own pace and goals for the day. As spaces are limited, early registration is recommended to secure your place among fellow runners and walkers who share a passion for pushing personal limits while enjoying Devon's natural beauty. If capacity is reached, latecomers will still receive a specially chosen medal from those available on the event day.
