The Edge Hill / Cystic Fibrosis Trust 3km Fun Run - 10th Year!

Join us on April 25, 2027, for the Edge Hill / Cystic Fibrosis Trust 3km Fun Run at Edge Hill University in Ormskirk, West Lancashire. Celebrating its tenth anniversary since the inaugural run in 2017, this event is a heartwarming community gathering that supports those affected by cystic fibrosis.
Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to take part in this family-friendly event. Whether you choose to jog or walk along the scenic 3km route around Edge Hill University’s campus, everyone who crosses the finish line will receive an official medal as a token of appreciation for their participation.
After completing your run or walk, enjoy entertainment on campus and indulge in refreshments provided by local vendors. Capture memorable moments at photo opportunities set up near the winner's rostrum. For juniors under 11 years old, it is mandatory to be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.
Please note that dogs are not permitted on Edge Hill University’s grounds except for assistance animals like guide or service dogs. This policy ensures a safe environment for all participants and complies with university regulations.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust encourages individuals participating in this run, especially those who have family members affected by cystic fibrosis, to wear high-visibility bands as part of their cross-infection prevention measures.
