At 3 Sisters Waterski near Wigan, open water swimming sessions welcome swimmers every Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 PM and Saturday morning from 8:30 to 10 AM. These social lapped events are designed for all skill levels and must be booked in advance through the online platform.

Swimmers aged 12 and older are welcome to join these sessions. For those between 12 and 15 years old, a mandatory requirement includes wearing both a swim float and wetsuit while being accompanied by an adult or another swimmer for safety reasons. Swimmers aged 16 and above who opt not to wear a wetsuit must use a swim float.
All participants are required to wear bright-coloured swim caps to ensure visibility in the water, helping swimmers stay safe during their laps around the lake. The clear and clean waters of 3 Sisters make it an inviting spot for both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike.
The venue also features a designated cold-water acclimatization area where you can safely dip without wearing a wetsuit if desired. This provides an excellent opportunity to gradually get used to cooler temperatures, enhancing your overall swimming experience.
