- Individuals aged 16 and above who choose to wear a wetsuit are advised, but not required, to use a swim float. However, all swimmers over 16 swimming without a wetsuit must have a swim float for visibility.
All participants are encouraged to sport bright-colored swim caps for better visibility in the water, avoiding dark shades that might hinder safety measures.
