The Happy Hour Series: A Welcoming Trail Run Experience Kick off your Friday night with an invigorating trail run through the picturesque Goodrich Loomis Conservation Area, where nature meets community. The first installment of our Happy Hour series offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for runners of all levels to come together and enjoy the outdoors. The terrain at Goodrich Loomis is varied and challenging, featuring stretches of hills, rocky paths, roots, and moss-covered log bridges that add an element of adventure to your run. The course spans 6-8 kilometers depending on trail conditions, ensuring a scenic yet rigorous experience. With some slippery spots along the way, participants are encouraged to proceed with caution. For this event, there will be no aid stations set up throughout the route; however, water is available at both the start and finish line for refueling after your run. Please bring your own reusable bottles as we aim to minimize waste by operating a cupless system. Conveniently located just off the parking lot is a porta-potty facility. Registration on race day starts an hour before the event begins and costs $40, providing last-minute runners with the opportunity to join in the fun without missing out. Timing for this run will be done manually, allowing participants to focus more on enjoying their surroundings rather than competing. There are no placement awards given at the finish line; instead, we celebrate each runner's personal achievements as part of our community-driven ethos against cheating and fake competition. Should you need to change your plans last minute or defer due to unforeseen circumstances, please note that refunds will not be issued for any reason. However, participants have the option to transfer their registration to another Happy Hour event in the series at no additional cost. Completing all three races in our Happy Hour Series culminates with a special recognition: those who manage to run The Last Hour will receive exclusive Dirty Soles swag and a custom medal celebrating their achievement. Join us for an unforgettable evening of camaraderie, exercise, and natural beauty as we celebrate the joy of running together. This event promises not just physical activity but also a sense of belonging within our vibrant community of trail runners.
