The Greater LA Triple Crown 5k Series

About the Event

The Greater LA Triple Crown 5k Series returns to Auburn, Maine on August 23rd, gathering runners and walkers for its third race of the summer series.
Auburn's charming streets will host this event in the heart of Lewiston-Auburn. On a typical race morning, runners can expect temperatures around 20°C, with humidity at 76%, making it feel like an ideal running day. The course stretches through the city’s parks and neighborhoods, offering hard and dry conditions perfect for quick times.
This event series has been running since its inception in 2014, bringing together a community of over 3,500 participants who are passionate about healthy living and supporting local charities. This year's race supports three key organizations: the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA, Fletcher Foundation, and Bridge Run Foundation.
The Greater LA Triple Crown 5k Series covers distances totaling approximately 15 kilometers when all races in the series are completed. For those looking to participate just once, each individual 5K race is a perfect distance of 3.1 miles or about 5 kilometers.
Each 5K race will begin at 8:30 AM sharp on August 23rd. The L-A Bridge Run and Emily's Run both offer the same challenging yet rewarding course with USATF certification, chip-timing for accuracy, and refreshments along the route to keep you fueled. The race layout includes notable features such as a picturesque park section where runners can enjoy scenic views.
The start of the 5K will be at Auburn High School on South Franklin Street, near the intersection with Main Street. Participants should bring their ID for age verification if they are below 14 or above 75 years old. Adaptive racers and those in wheelchairs need to contact organizers directly; registration is free for these groups.
For all others, there's a fee of $34.99 per race with an additional $84.48 for the full series if you wish to participate in all three races. Registration can be done online at https://raceroster.com/events/2026/115678/the-greater-la-triple-crown-5k-series.
Bibs are available on race day, and participants should ensure they bring their own water bottles or cups as no disposable ones will be provided. The event raises awareness for local charities while fostering a sense of community among runners and walkers in Auburn, Maine.
