Experience The Hotdogger, an exhilarating and unique biathlon that has become a beloved annual event since its inception six years ago. This year, teams of up to six participants will once again compete from dawn till dusk on Fruita's legendary 18 Road trails, pushing their limits in both hotdog-eating contests and mountain biking. The race begins with the sun and concludes under the stars, offering a full day filled with adrenaline-fueled action. Participants must navigate the iconic terrain of 18 Road while simultaneously indulging in as many gourmet hotdogs as possible – all prepared by expert chefs to ensure your culinary experience is nothing short of exceptional. As you race through the rugged landscapes, take in breathtaking views and challenging trails that have made this area a favorite among mountain bikers. Each lap on 18 Road contributes points towards your team’s score, adding an extra layer of strategy to the competition. Post-race festivities include a raffle with prizes generously donated by industry partners, ensuring there's something for everyone who crosses the finish line. The event also offers two nights of camping at Dog Plaza – a designated site within the Bureau of Land Management North Fruita Desert Campground (one campsite per team). Registration is simple and straightforward, providing all participants with an event entrance pass, unlimited hotdogs and condiments, a swag bag filled with goodies from The Hotdogger, and a donation to support The Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association (COPMOBA). Camping enthusiasts can secure their spot by choosing the "With Camping" option. Visit our website at www.thehotdogger.org for all the details you need. Remember, while a USA Cycling License Number is optional, if required during registration, use 6 zeros ("000000") to avoid any issues. Join us this year and make history as part of The Hotdogger's unforgettable adventure!
