The Lake Tri Series Race 4

Immerse yourself in the scenic beauty of Cromhall Quarry, located just off Junction 14 of the M5 near South Gloucestershire, as you take part in The Lake Triathlon Series for 2026. This series features five sprint-distance races scheduled on the second Wednesday of each month from May to August, culminating with a grand finale event on September 12th.
Each race offers an invigorating challenge that combines a refreshing open-water swim across Cromhall Quarry’s pristine waters—a site renowned for its exceptional water quality—with a spirited bike ride through local roads and a concluding run back within the quarry grounds. The series is designed to cater to both seasoned triathletes looking to push their limits and newcomers eager to experience the thrill of competition.
Registration includes all necessary amenities such as chip timing, podium medals awarded at each event based on performance, secure transition areas with numbered racking for your gear, professional medical support, clean water swims in one of Britain’s cleanest sites, and access to changing facilities. Additionally, participants benefit from a friendly atmosphere that encourages camaraderie among athletes.
The evening schedule is meticulously planned: parking near the lake's bottom car park, registration at 5:30 PM sharp with everything concluding by 6:30 PM in the lakeside marquee tent, followed by a race briefing at 6:35 PM. The races kick off promptly at 6:45 PM for men and 6:50 PM for women.
The series awards prizes to first-place male and female finishers at each event as well as an overall champion title based on accumulated points across all five regular events plus the finale. This system rewards consistent performance throughout the season, making it a thrilling competition beyond just individual races.
