About the Event

The Malvern Hills Ultra offers runners the chance to traverse some of Worcestershire's most captivating landscapes. The race begins at Abberley Village Hall and features four distance options: 23 miles, 31 miles, 38 miles, or the challenging 47-mile route, which includes an ascent surpassing 2,900 meters.
The event starts promptly at 7:00 AM, providing participants with up to 13 hours to complete their chosen distance before the cut-off time of 8:00 PM. The course is marked along the Worcestershire Way but runners are encouraged to download our detailed maps and route directions from our website for added guidance.
For those looking for a bit more support, we have 'Time Lords' running at paces designed to help you finish in either 11, 12, or 13 hours. These experienced guides will provide encouragement throughout the race.
Upon crossing the finish line, all participants receive an official MHU medal and can choose from a selection of commemorative items such as a technical T-shirt, mug, or hat to celebrate their achievement.
